2024 boys soccer recap

The soccer team at Deerfield Beach High just kicked their way to the finish line and are proud bearers of many accomplishments. The beginning of the season was great for DBHS Bucks.

“This season was pretty good, we won district, so we did good,” said DBHS freshman Malik Celeste.

Many of the players on the Deerfield Beach High soccer team have worked and practiced hard to get to where they are right now, and they are still improving. The persistence they’ve showcased is special to the hearts of all students, friends, family, and staff; A very important characteristic when playing any sport, not just soccer.

Heading back to the team’s track record, their win-to-loss ratio is greatly stacked with victories. This
streak has been long deserved thanks to the strong community built by each individual player. Soccer is not a sport to be played with, despite their well-known playfulness and amazing sportsmanship. Being prepared and practicing movement skills is just as important of a part when placed on the field.
Other than the school related environment, parents have also been a great support system for the Bucks.

“I practice with my dad on the field, and it helps me,” said DBHS freshman Malik Celeste.

The hours of conditioning and hard-earned sweat have paid off and they look forward to playing better and stronger next year, as well as welcoming the next incoming generation for the boys’ soccer team. For those curious about this year’s record, all the schematics are available on MaxPreps under Deerfield Beach High School.
