Requesting a temporary I.D. badge from student affairs continuously will result in an obligation and disciplinary action for students as all 2026-2027 Buck Pride Lanyards should be around a student’s neck daily while on campus.

P.M. One Makeup testing lists are posted in the main mall for students to check. All 9th graders who missed last week are listed on bright pink paper to test on Wednesday, September 16th at 7:40 a.m. in room 240. The purple paper has the 10th graders who will makeup P.M. One this Friday, September 18th at 7:40 a.m. in the testing center.

11th and 12th graders who need to makeup their graduation requirement of P.M. Three testing are listed on yellow paper in the main mall for Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:40 a.m. in the 240-Testing Center.

Varsity Girls’ Volleyball will be traveling to Coconut Creek today, September 14th to take on Cougars in their gym at 4:30 p.m.

Boys’ basketball conditioning will start next month on Monday, October 5th at 3:00 p.m. on the track. To participate, athletes must have their physical packet fully completed and turned in. For a physical packet, stop by Ms. Hills in room 507 or Ms. Mitchell in student affairs.

Underclassmen who want to view their photos or purchase a package can log in at cady.com/pictureday to view the 2026-2027 school pictures and explore package options. Retakes will happen next week for those that missed their yearbook photo.

Class of 2027 members’ spots are limited and over 400 classmates have not taken their Senior Portraits with CADY. There is only a couple of months until the January deadline so do not delay as without this tradition completed their will not be a celebration slide for you at the Graduation Ceremony.

There will be a Senior Assembly next week on Wednesday, September 23rd during 4th Period. All 12th graders will report to their class, and an announcement will be made to release the seniors to the auditorium.

Are you looking for a way to make new friends, get involved, and help make Deerfield a more inclusive place? Check out Best Buddies that is all about building friendships, creating connections, and making sure everyone feels included and welcome. No experience is needed—just bring a positive attitude and an open mind! Their first meeting will be tomorrow, September 15th at 7:20 a.m. in room 134.

Any Young Lady interested in joining a district-based mentoring and scholarship program designed to inspire, motivate, and empower young women to achieve their academic, personal, and future career goals should attend tomorrow, September 15th interest meeting. Students wanting to learn more need to head to Ms. Bien-Aime’s room 156 at 2:50 p.m. She will help the interested females to discover opportunities for mentoring, leadership development, scholarships, community service, college and career preparation, along with sisterhood.

Are you interested in leadership, cultural awareness, community service, and making a positive impact at Deerfield Beach High School? Join the Black Student Union. The B.S.U. is dedicated to empowering students through leadership, cultural awareness, academic excellence, and community engagement. B.S.U. provides a welcoming environment where students of all backgrounds can celebrate Black history and culture, develop leadership skills, participate in service opportunities, and promote unity, diversity, and inclusion throughout our school community. Their first meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, September 15th.

Save Promise and Choose peace stop violence is having a joint interest meeting on Wednesday, September 16th. Student leaders can help make Deerfield a safer, kinder, and more inclusive place. Head to room 156 after school to learn how to get involved with either programs. Save promise club is a student-led youth leadership initiative created by sandy hook promise that empowers students to help prevent violence, reduce social isolation, promote inclusion, and create safer schools and communities. Where choose peace stop violence is committed to promoting peace, kindness, respect, positive relationships, and violence prevention throughout our school community. All interested students are welcome to meet Ms. Francois and Ms. Bien-Aime at 2:50 p.m.
