Tradition is an important part of Deerfield Beach High. The Marching Bucks bringing spirit, color, and music to campus for over 50 years. Now prospective members can become a part of the band’s life and experience the pageantry, excitement, and dedication to excellence for yourself.

Not a music major? Neither are 95% of our members.
Worried about the time commitment? They will have a student leaders that know how it works to help you navigate being in the band while earning a high school diploma. Prospective members are invited to contact them through Instagram @dbhs_band for more information about the program. Members of the band staff, including the directors and current members will be happy to answer your questions at the start of the school year.
If any young person is interested in being a member of the DBHS Marching Bucks Band and you don’t play an instrument This is your chance to be a member. The band will be auditioning for the Auxiliary units which includes Dance, Majorettes, and Flags. Applications will be available Monday, August 21st during both lunches in the room 313 only.
