As part of the Broward County School District’s efforts to reduce electrical energy consumption, the Deerfield Beach High School staff is on a four day work week for 2023 Summer. Over the past 14 years, the four day program has reduced electrical consumption from 554,295,339 kilowatt hour in 2009, to 492,299,989 in 2022, with an annual average savings of $10,099,528 since 2009.

This means if someone needs to speak to a Deerfield staff member, the best way to contact them is through their e-mails. As starting on Monday, June 12th DBHS staff will go on limited crew, to allow them to also enjoy a summer vacation.

So before heading to Deerfield’s campus, pick up the phone and call (754) 322-0650 to see if someone is on campus to help you and/or the area is not being cleaned for the 2023-2024 school year.
