The Deerfield Beach Cheerleaders are looking for new team members for the 2022-2023 school year. Tryouts for the squad are open to all D.B.H.S. students and rising freshmen and will be held in the cafeteria from Thursday, June 8th to Saturday, June 10th. Potential cheerleaders will be evaluated on these days only, and will have to perform the learned material in front of a panel of judges.
Interested students must come in black shorts and white shirt with tennis shoes on. There should be no jewelry along with hair being pulled back and out of faces on the following three days:
• Thursday, June 8th at 5:45 p.m.
• Friday, June 9th at 5:45 p.m.
• Saturday, June 10th at 9:30 a.m.
In order to tryout students must have at least a 2.0 GPA and complete the interest form link, before Thursday, June 8th at 5:45 p.m. When entering the gym students must have already submitted and/or bring the FHSAA physical form and a copy of their medical insurance card. Students must also have no athletic obligations on the Deerfield Beach’s estore.
