Covid-19 Vaccinations on Campus

Comments Off on Covid-19 Vaccinations on Campus

To help stop the spread of covid-19 and assure the safety of students, staff, and the community, Deerfield Beach High School, will be issuing the Pfizer two-dose vaccination to all students and citizens of the community on Tuesday, May 4th. Staff from the Broward County Health Department will be on campus from 1 pm to 6 pm to provide vaccines for everyone who stops by.

Students age 16 and older are all eligible to receive the vaccine, but if they are under 18, they must be accompanied by their legal guardian or caregiver to be vaccinated. All consent forms, information regarding the Pfizer two-dose vaccine, and a follow-up administration date will be provided by the health department officials upon arrival.

No appointment is necessary to receive the vaccine, so everyone is encouraged to stop by. Parking will be available at the student parking lot off of Buck Pride Way, and everyone will have to go to the 900-building to get the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

All students will be back on campus for in-person learning in the 2021-2022 school year. With the safety of students and staff being the number one priority, DBHS wants to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to receive the COVID vaccine before the upcoming school year.
