A recap of this year’s season

Deerfield Beach High Bucks are saying goodbye to this year’s football season so let’s go back and recap. Deerfield Beach High had a total of 20 games including both varsity and junior varsity. Even though the season is ending, the players are excited to come back next year and play even better.

This year, the junior varsity team had a greater total of victories compared to the varsity team but both teams put good work into this season. A couple of players feel sad about the ending of this football season. Our senior players will also be leaving as this school year passes so they are appreciated while they’re still here.

“It didn’t go as we expected, but it was fun, and I learned a lot,” said DBHS senior Kevin Nicholson from the varsity team.

Deerfield Beach High Bucks are sad to see our senior players go but now we are welcomed with our amazing freshmen that will take over after they leave.

“One of the coaches told me to play, so I joined,” said DBHS freshman Jahdane Rowe from the junior varsity team. “I’m very satisfied with how I did.”

The players and coaches look forward to a good next season for the DBHS football teams and many more games to win in the next chapter.
