Class of 2023 prom
After an anticipated and well-deserved spring break, the class of 2023 is ready to end their senior year with a bang. Seniors are entering the final stretch of high school and will have the opportunity to take part in a memorable night that they will never forget.
The Student Government Association (SGA) of Deerfield Beach High School presents the senior prom theme as A Luxury in Egypt. Students can be a part of the Egyptian royal experience and have the opportunity to be crowned Prom Pharaohs or King and Queen.
“I have been looking forward to prom since the start of my senior year. It is an opportunity to have fun with all my classmates before finally parting ways,” says DBHS Senior, Krystal Walford who is excited about what the SGA has in store.
The prom will begin on May 20th at 7:00 p.m. at an unannounced location. The decorations and activities available will be a complete surprise for the class of 2023, making it an even more fun experience.
“This will only happen once. I am excited to dress up, have fun with my friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime,” DBHS senior Janiyah Clark said.
Tickets are now available on the e-store which can also be accessible by going to the Deerfield Beach High School website and clicking “Online Payments” under the “Resources” tab. The prom tickets are priced at $132 and must be bought before May 5th. Seniors may bring student guests that are not in the same grade at DBHS, but they must first submit a form to the SGA coordinator, Ms. Hills, in room 507.
Prom is a perfect way to conclude this chapter for the class of 2023. Thanks to the hardworking SGA, seniors are in store for an unforgettable night of luxury and extravagance that will be cherished for years to come.
