Student Transportation

Beep beep. Hello, all Deerfield Beach High School students, welcome back for another enjoyable year. As we begin a new school year, here are a few friendly reminders from the Broward Sheriff’s Office dealing with traffic laws into the campus whether it is being dropped off or driving themselves. All can be found under student transportation, but BSO wants to remind the Home of the Bucks: The safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists alike is the primary concern.

While driving through school zones:

  • Do not block/obstruct intersections
  • Do not block obstruct crosswalks
  • Do not block obstruct sidewalks
  • All school zones are 15 mph
  • Be mindful of all crossing guards/pedestrians/bicyclists
  • Do not load/unload passengers from your vehicle while on the travel portion of the roadway

Give yourself plenty of travel time and most of all… be patient because there is a lot of people who are traveling here. As always, at the start of the year there is some kind of promotion being introduced and every student should be aware of this one. It is the matter of student parking. The time has come where new license drivers have the chance to pull up to school in their fresh new whips.

Monday, August 22nd was the opening date for when security guard Mr. Noble started accepting applications. Students must turn in a notarized and signed application form, along with an acknowledgment form printed from the school’s website to Mr. Noble by Tuesday, September 6th. The application and acknowledgments forms can be found on under student parking.
