The new mantle of Captain America
It has been nothing but good for Disney Plus’s new series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. With its series finale released on Friday, April 23, the ratings have gone off the chart. It happens to be the most streamed series in the United States. The story plot and adventurous nature of this show are what keeps viewers wanting more. The actions and thriller keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
The story revolves around the two characters Samuel Wilson and Bucky Barnes. The events follow after the “Avengers: Endgame” Marvel movie, where Captain America decides to pass down his sacred mantle onto Falcon, played by Samuel Wilson. This new series focuses on Samuel’s struggles as he takes on Captain America’s mantle and the doubts he struggles with along the way.
Bucky Barnes, known as the former Winter Soldier, also makes an appearance. Barnes tries to make amends with his dark past as a former assassin from the detested Hydra organization and tries to find inner peace. He then changes his name to White Wolf after staying in Wakanda for some time. These two incredible characters then come together and link minds, to take on and tackle great adventures.
Throughout the episodes, you’ll be able to see the characters evolve and change for the better or the worst. The different interactions with characters throughout the show will keep you engaged.
