Lasting an entire day at school can be much of a hassle to endure all year long. Professional Study Day rescues this restless routine that many students have grown to hate. It also allows teachers to attend meetings, plan for teaching, and grade.
Due to PSD’s letting students out of school at 11:45am, students have been known to use PSD’s to their advantage. Students use this time to do homework, study, or distress from school. Some students even use this time as an opportunity to hang out with friends.
Deerfield Beach High School’s Professional Study Day usually falls on the first Thursday of every month. With the school year being in its last quarter, Thursday, April 6th will be the last PSD of the school year.
