Authors, penmen, and literary artists have the opportunity to express themselves at the Creative Writer’s Club on Mondays and Wednesdays in Room 139. These students are being trained to write different pieces such as short stories, poems, rap, etc. to compete for an upcoming competition called “Louder Than A Bomb.” The club’s supervisor, Ms. Range, has chosen four out of the twenty club members to compete.
On Wednesday, March 29th, writers from all across the counties will be attending the “Louder Than A Bomb” South Florida Competition to meet and battle out ideas, current events, and topics through the use of poetry, rap, and song.
Buses will be leaving Deerfield Beach High School at 8:00 A.M. to take these students to the Arts Garage Music Venue, where the first round of the competition will take place. The four chosen students will go and present their pieces, in hope to move on to the second round of the competition which will be taking place the following Saturday.
