Class of 2018 will be having their ring ceremony on Wednesday, March 29th in the auditorium. It will include a performance by Junior, Krystin Anderson. The attire for the program is semi- formal therefore all attendees must dress appropriately.
At Deerfield Beach High School purchasing class rings and having a ring ceremony has been a tradition for over ten years. Class rings started in the year, 1835, by the graduates of the United States military academy in West Point, New York. Students customize a ring to represent them and stand as a physical reminder of their unique high school experience. The rings are also a way to showcase the ideals and traditions of the school they attended. Fast forward a couple hundred years and the class ring has become a one of the most widely recognized customs in the world.
For more information on the ring ceremony contact a Herff Jones representative or Ms. Fletcher in room 512.
