Key Club is an organization led by students to promote leadership through community service. These service events vary all the time and benefit the students and the people around them. Anybody that wants to help the community are welcome to be apart of this organization.
An official membership can be obtained by completing dues of service and registration. This way, members can participate in the Key Club Convention held in April in the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando. This convention has Key Clubbers attend from all over Florida and are able to elect a new district officer board, attend workshops and enjoy many social gatherings like dining at restaurants and a senior pool party.
Led by president Vanessa Lepore-Rodriguez, there are two upcoming events where students can participate in: Arboretum Cleanup on December 3rd and a street Cleanup on Saturday, December 17th. Meetings are held in Ms. Fletcher’s room 507 every Thursday at 2:45pm, excluding professional study days and early release days.
