Get Ready Bucks! It’s that time of year for Deerfield Beach High School to participate in the 14th annual Harvest Food Drive. DBHS will be collecting food for the families of Deerfield and Pompano Beach this 2016-2017 school year.
The school’s goal is to collect 2,500 food items, which include: Kraft Mac and cheese, canned meat (chicken, ham, tuna), canned vegetables, Chef Boyardee pastas, pasta sauce, cooking oil/cooking spray, cereal, granola, canned fruit/dried fruit, instant mashed potatoes, tooth paste, and first aid.
In order to make the food drive a success, the support of both staff and students will be appreciated. All items are to be turned in to Mr. Pizzo’s in room 225 in the morning. The last day to turn in food items will be Monday, November 21st.
