Serving well over 2,000 students on a daily basis requires a building that is much larger than the middle schools students left behind subsequently leaving many freshmen overwhelmed and daunted by its sheer size.
Freshman Orientation is designed to reduce some of this anxiety by offering students the opportunity to learn their way around DBHS policies before the school year fully begins. So Deerfield Beach’s Orientation on Tuesday, August 23 in the auditorium during 2nd and 3rd period. An announcement will be made to release all 9th grade boys to the auditorium 2nd period.
