Summer is calling; Deerfield Beach High School’s 2015-2016 school year is coming to an end. Saying farewell to seniors and moving on up closer to completing the last few years of high school. Finals week is beating down as students work to maintain their grades in order to successfully pass their classes and have a stress free vacation until it is time to return in august!

As far as sports and athletic activities of DBHS, summer practices have already begun in preparation for next year’s games such as football, soccer & many more. Truly the end of this school year is only the beginning as next year fresh faces will be welcomed in their first year of high school and all the experiences that come with it.

Clubs like First Priority are winding down but the work doesn’t stop there! Summer classes are available to any underclassmen interested in either taking driver’s Ed or completing community service hours that will be taken up with administrators if there are any concerns and teachers that are providing service hours. Students can also participate by joining the 21st Century YMCA Program, where students can receive credit by taking different courses, to view the programs offered click here.
