It’s time to walk the stage in Herff Jones’ scarlett caps and gowns. Class of 2016 came to Butler Stadium on Thursday, June 2nd between 8-10am for the distribution. Seniors who missed their slotted times were allowed to pick them up before ten.
The cap and gowns are the biggest graduation symbolizes for this special day because students have worked hard for twelve years. As the graduates of Deerfield Beach High School walk to get their diplomas, the cap and gown will add a feeling of pride for their accomplishments. Students were also given cords, stools, or medals to help showcase their triumphs throughout their education.
Students that missed Thursday’s distribution were called for instructions but they can also call DBHS’ main number 754.322.0650 to find out more information. Though seniors who have issues with their gowns may speak to Herff Jones before graduation, as there will be reps on site for ceremony.
