Deerfield Beach High School was proud to host an informational assembly for the University of Yale admissions officers, who gave Bucks advice on what they look for in prospective students. The officers discussed some of the perks in life as a Handsome Dan, and more about the distinguished institution. The assembly took place Tuesday, March 15th at 1:00pm in the media center.

Yale University is an American private Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut. Founded in 1701 in Saybrook Colony as the Collegiate School, the University is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States. The college is considered one of the most prestigious Universities in the nation, holding a 6.3% acceptance rate. Most notable for its excellent drama and music programs, Yale is placed at number 3 in U.S. News for the best Nationally ranked University. Students will need all the advice they can get if they want a chance in getting admitted in the University.

Any students who missed the seminar can speak to Ms. Davis in the BRACE office located in the media center.
