Magnet

Applications.

After a successful Magnet Open House, students are welcome to apply for magnet programs offered at Deerfield Beach High School. Each magnet program has a focus that attracts to specific interests of the student applying. Acceptance into a Magnet Program for high school students is based on academic performance. The programs offered are the Urban Teacher Academy Program (UTAP),  International Baccalaureate (IB), and Communications/Broadcast Arts (CBA). Each program has a coordinator that can be contacted for any information related to the individual program. Along with a specific coordinator, each program has its own specific requirements for applicants. Applications for all magnet programs will be accepted until Friday, February 2nd.

Lunch

Free Pilot Program.

The Food and Nutrition Services Department at Deerfield Beach High School is providing all students with breakfast and lunch at no cost under the Universal Free Breakfast and Universal Free Lunch Program Pilot for the 2023-2024 school year.

As this is a Program Pilot, it is vital that households continue to apply online for Free or Reduced Lunch to secure the Universal Free Lunch Program Pilot for the next school year along with additional district opportunities.

Parents, Guardians and/or Caregivers should create an account for their student through My School Bucks at www.myschoolbucks.com for a la carte items.
